6:30 am, Kyôto station, shooting session!
Why not?
I want to shoot some trains of JR West early in the morning at Kyôto station.
Just after seen 'Kitahuni' night train arriving from my hôtel room, i go on the platform ...
My first day train was a JR 223-5500 series, 16 2-car sets were delivered in 2008, with the first sets entering service in July 2008. These sets are based at Fukuchiyama Depot, and are equipped for driver-only-operation.
You can see his shining side ...
Platform 30, in the extension of the platform 0, ideal for a shooting session at Kyôto station, 281 series 'Haruka' train bound for International Kansai airport, with 3+6 cars linked.

At the end of platform 0-30, a JR employee coming a two trains leave, JR 221 & 321.
JR 117 series, introduced in 1979 by JNR 'Kokutetsu'.
The 117 series featured many standard components of the era, however due to its surpassing the typical operating speed of 100 to 110 km/h, it also employed higher quality components.
JR 207 series introduced in 1991. In this beautiful morning sunshine.
JR 115 series, departing on the San'in main line.
JR 681-683 series Thunderbird, Ôsaka~Kanazawa.
