JR E257系500番代
Two videos of the beautiful JR E257-500, introduced in the end 2004.

The second at Chiba station, the JR E257-500 going to the Makuhari Hongô trains depot...
I made a little trip beetween Ohara and Chiba in a JR E257-500 for a 'Wakashio' service last summer.
Here are my photos...
The 'snake-train'! arriving at Ohara station, a rural station in Chiba dept.
Very confortable, a bit like shinkansen trains, and you can turn the seats if you want...
You need to push a sort of pedal under the seat and turn it! very easy and practical.
A bad thing in the E 257-500, you haven't a good view at the front like in a lot of japaneses trains! it's a pity!
